The Halloween Adventure
Down cobbled streets in autumn’s chill,
Went Ludo and Lulu with sweets to fill.
Pumpkins grinned on every sill,
While lanterns wobbled on windowsills.
Their best mate joined - a ginger chap,
A plump, proud cat named Pip, in a cap.
He meowed for sweets, gave doors a tap,
Then sat down smug with his candy wrap.
“Trick or treat!” cried the children too,
Pip just yowled a cheeky mew!
Old Mrs. Tibbins, with hair askew,
Dropped tuna tins - “Those are for you!”
They skipped past hedges and garden gates,
With toffee apples and jelly plates.
Pip, of course, decided fate -
He pinched a pie and wouldn’t wait.
Down little English lanes they roamed,
Where every doorway felt like home.
The children laughed, while Pip just combed
His whiskers neat, then stalked and roamed.
By night’s end, baskets brimmed with cheer,
Pip had eaten half the gear.
“Next year,” said Lulu, “it’s quite clear -
We’ll get him his own trick-or-treating sphere!”
Claws, Paws and Pumpkins
Hello fellow mischief-makers! It’s us - Ludo and Lulu - with the most important October tradition: pumpkin carving! From a cat’s perspective, it’s not about spooky faces… it’s about hiding spots, paw slime, and snacks.
1. Pick a Pumpkin
Ludo: “Big enough to hide in.”
Lulu: “Or small enough for a paw-stool.”
2. Scoop the Goo
Lulu: “We call it cat paw slime.”
Ludo: “Great for flicking across the floor.”
3. Carve with Style
Lulu: “Cat faces only.”
Ludo: “Whiskers required.”
4. Light it Up Safely
Ludo: “Battery candles only!”
Lulu: “No singed whiskers.”
5. Show it Off
Lulu: “Window or doorstep display.”
Ludo: “Impress the trick-or-treaters.”

Keep Calm on Bonfire Night
Bonfire Night is full of bangs, crackles, and sparkly skies - but not every pet finds it fun. Ludo and Lulu are here to share their best tips for keeping cats, dogs, and all furry friends safe and snug when the fireworks fly. 🐾
1. Shut the Windows, Please!
Lulu: “Loud bangs are scary - close the windows tight!”
Ludo: “And draw the curtains, so we don’t see the flashes.”
2. Create a Cosy Den.
Ludo: “A box with a blanket = a five-star hotel.”
Lulu: “Put our favourite toys inside too!”
3. Keep the Humans Calm.
Lulu: “If you panic, we panic. So keep voices soft.”
Ludo: “Play music or telly to cover the bangs or put on Cat YouTube. I like the one with the pigeons.”
4. No Fireworks for Pets!
Lulu: “Never ever let us near sparklers or rockets.”
Ludo: “We don’t want singed whiskers.”
5. Extra Cuddles, Please.
Ludo: “The best remedy for loud noises is a warm lap.”
Lulu: “Or a gentle stroke behind the ears.”
Ludo and Lulu’s Final Word:
Bonfire Night can be noisy, but with safe dens, soft sounds, and plenty of cuddles, pets will stay calm and happy.
Autumn Snaps with our Spooky Squad
